What "Identity Verified" means
A government-issued ID and a live selfie were checked against each other by a regulated identity vendor (Stripe Identity in v1). The check passed, and the result is recorded against this user's MeetingSafe account.
What it does not mean
- It does not guarantee any specific behavior at a meeting.
- It does not vouch for skills, products, or pricing.
- It does not mean MeetingSafe stores raw ID images on partner sites. We retain only the outcome, with a short audit reference.
How long it lasts
Identity Verified expires by default two years after the verification date. The badge always renders with the issued and expiry dates so a reviewer can see the recency at a glance.
Where it's used
On partner surfaces (e.g. QuickDeal listings and profiles), and on MeetingSafe links shared by the verified person. The same payload powers both — see the partner section on the home page.
